Jared Eisenhower is an architectural designer & abstract artist living and working in New York City. His recent experience includes the design & construction administration of a contemporary photography museum located in downtown Manhattan. Prior to moving to New York to pursue his architectural career, Jared received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Architecture + Design and lived as a resident of East Tennessee for 22 years. His subsequent time spent in the Northeast has helped to develop a broadened perspective of the American socioeconomic landscape and provides a unique personal retrospective of the region that shaped his adolescence and upbringing. His professional experience also includes work as a research assistant and illustrator for Sun, Wind & Light: Architectural Design Strategies, 3rd Edition where he developed a keen understanding of both passive & active sustainable design strategies. In both his architectural designs & abstract artwork, he is heavily influenced by light, scale, proportion & landscape.
